Overview

The efficient and dignified conduct of public business is an ultimate concern of the Board. Accordingly, it is the policy of the Board that its meetings be conducted with the highest degree of order and decorum. The Board's integrity and dignity will be established and maintained at all times during the conduct of public business, and the Board will permit no behavior which is not in keeping with this policy.

There are several ways to communicate with Board members. You may:

Meeting Details

Regular meetings are held on the first Monday of every month beginning at 6:30 pm. Joint meetings with the Town Councils of Halifax and South Boston are held quarterly on the third Monday of January, April, July, and October beginning at 6 pm.

Agendas are posted approximately five days before a meeting takes place.

Minutes from meetings are posted once adopted by the Board of Supervisors, which is approximately one month after the meeting has occurred.
