What is a CERT Member?: A Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) member is a person who is trained to prepare for and respond to a disaster in their neighborhood. A group of trained members who work together year-round in continuing education and training drills comprises our team. Persons not affiliated with a team may serve as individuals.

2. Who may take the CERT class?: Anyone who is interested in helping his or her neighborhood prepare for a disaster and provide assistance afterward.

3. Is there a cost to join CERT or take the CERT class?: No, the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is a volunteer program. There is no cost to take the class nor a cost associated with joining the team.

4. Who can join the CERT Team?: Anyone who has completed the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Basic course and is interested in helping their community after a disaster.
