Public Safety Youth Camp

Halifax County Sheriff's Office is pleased to offer Public Safety Youth Camp, June 19-23, 2023. Camp is open to Halifax County youth ages 9-13 and the deadline to register is June 12, 2023.

Camp will be located at the Halifax County Fire Training Grounds behind Halifax County Middle School. Youth can be dropped off between 8:30 - 9:00 a.m. and should be picked up by 4:00 p.m.

Camp is free and limited seats are available. Those interested in attending can download the Public Safety Youth Camp Application and submit it to Deputy Chris Hudson at cshudson@co.halifax.va.us For any questions, Deputy Hudson can be reached at 434-579-5338.

The 2023 schedule includes Opening Day, Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice Day, Emergency Medical Services Day, Firefighting and Rescue Day, and Fun Day. More details about each day are included with the Public Safety Youth Camp Application.

Be sure complete the APPLICATION and get a spot before the event is full!
