Public Hearing in June

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that a Public Hearing will be held Monday, June 5, 2023 at 6:30 PM by the Halifax County Board of Supervisors to consider and receive comments on the below applications:

Conditional Use Permit Application ED # 6:
Applicant: Charles Hite
PRN 25600
Location: 4237 Old Cluster Springs Road
Business Name: Hite Property Maintenance
Proposed Use: Auto repair garage (cars, trucks, atvs, and tractors)

The Joint Public Hearing will be held in the Board of Supervisors Meeting Room located in the Halifax County Administration Building, 1050 Mary Bethune Street, Halifax, Virginia. Public attendance at the Public Hearing will be permitted.

Any comments sent by letter, fax, or email will be distributed to the individual Commission and Board members. Comments received by Monday, May 29, 2023 at 5:00 PM will be included in meeting packets sent to members. Comments received after this date will be distributed to the members at the beginning of the public hearing.

Individuals requiring special assistance to attend and participate in the Hearings, or requiring additional information on the Hearings' issues, including copies of any applications, proposed plans, ordinances, or amendments, should contact the Halifax County Planning and Zoning Office, 1050 Mary Bethune Street, P.O.
